Week 60 -- Transferred to FRANKFURT

Yo. Sorry it's been a while. After just having 3 months in Dortmund I got transferred to Frankfurt. I said a lot of what felt like empty goodbyes because the time there was just too short. But I know I was there to serve with cute sister Misiego. I learned so much from that girl. It's only okay that I had to move to Frankfurt because she will come study here so we will still see each other.

Said a hard goodbye to my best friend Yue. She moved here from China to study. She has come to get to know God. Who he really is. That she is a literal child of God. She loved it so much that she brought 2 of her roommates to church with her. Not just her roommates but also a classmate to one of our lessons. Her and her cute roommates made us dinner the night before I left. They wanted me to have a taste of China. So they spent the whole day going to different Asian shops to get all the ingredients and then to cook for 3 hours. It was amazing. We all sat around this little table on the ground, eating this amazing Chinese food, with chopsticks of course, and talking about god. My best eating appointment by far. I love seeing the power that comes when someone learns that God is there and that we are his children.

My new companion's name is sister Grijalva. She is from Guatemala. I can't get a break from these awesome Spanish sisters hahaha. I guess maybe I should start learning Spanish now. Thanks for all the prayers and support

Week 56 -- It's 100°

So much has happened! This week we lowkey stole the elders investigator cuz she just loves us so much...oops.

anyway she's from China and just the cutest thing I've ever seen. She came to church for the first time in her life without knowing anything really and I was able to pull up some of the things they were talking about in Chinese so that she could understand better. In the class we read one of my all time favorite scriptures. We read alma 7:11-13.

I pulled it up and explained to her that Jesus is our older brother and that he came here to save us and to give us a way to be able to live with God again.
She read the scripture a couple of times and then turns to me and taps me on the arm and says I have a question....
and then she asked me so sincerely why would he do that?
I said because he loves us.
Then with tears in her eyes she said well that's a good reason.
So cute. How much joy the truths of the gospel bring is unreal.

Also pray I don't pass away. It's 100° and there is no such thing as a.c. here😂 got stuck in a train for 5 hours with broken AC...Hahah love public transportation

Week 54 -- Miracles

Our ward mission leader hooked it up and got the ward doing a 40 day fast for us. So every day of the week we have one of the members fasting for us missionaries. We have seen so many miracles because of it. The power of prayer and fast is crazy.

This week we had one of the most spiritual lessons of my mission. We had this cute YSA meet with us and our friend Michael in McDonald's. It was one of those moments where you see the power of God preparing people years before to meet with you and prepared me years before to be in Germany in that moment. Sorry, it's short. Thank you for the prayers.

Week 52 -- World With No Change

Sorry it's quick but better than nothing. This week I talked to a lady in the U-bahn. It's always interesting contacting. Not knowing who they are or what they have been through or where they are at in life, but knowing what you have can help them. No matter who they are. You just have to fit it to them. Anyway this lady told me she doesn't believe change is possible. That was the point of it i think with the stabs of what i am doing is stupid cuz its the impossible. I came out of this conversation thinking about a world with no change. And thinking about my life and where I would be without change. I thought about what makes it possible to be better. And I instantly thought of Christ and his atonement. Because of him we always have a second change. Not just a second, but a third and forth. How ever many we need as long as everyday we try. It's not just learning about Christ and know what he did and studying it. But actually becoming more like him everyday. It's about becoming that. We all know of him and the stories about him but what are we doing to actually become more like him everyday? Anyway just something to think about.
Thanks for all the prayers.
Here's some pics for all the things I don't talk about😂

Week 50 -- Transfered to Dortmund

Holy. So much has happened. My mom asked me to write a group for her birthday so this ones for you mom.

When I was with cute sister Christensen in Kaiserslautern we met the coolest kid. His name is Maurice. He's a 17 year old German. Right before I left we invited him to be baptized. Let me tell you about this kid tho. Contacted him on the street, gave him the book and a card. He ended up started it and texted us and said he already read 17 chapters of this book. Met with him and told him all about the book. The book that changed so many people's lives. He loved it so much that at the end he asked us if he could serve a mission when he becomes a member. Next time we met with him he printed our Preach my gospel and read the first 5 chapters....So yeah that's Maurice. When we invited him to be baptized he was nervous and kind of said no. So then I was like okay let's get on our knees and pray right here, right now. He said the cutest prayer and the holy ghost was so strong. He felt it too. Right at the end he ended and said "amen. Yes." In that moment he knew. Those are literally the moments I came out here for. Bummed I don't get to see his baptism and our other cute Diana. They are in good hands tho.

My new comp is sister Misiego. She was born in Spain but grew up here. So she's got the whole straight up right to the point German personality going. I love her lots.

Not sure what pictures my mom is going to attach but some are
